State Licensing Disclosures

Telehealth is regulated state by state. Here is how licensing, availability, and oversight work for care delivered through Renovia.

Who provides your care

Renovia Health, Inc. is a technology company and does not practice medicine. Clinical services are provided by independent physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who are licensed in the state where you are physically located at the time of your visit. Your clinician is solely responsible for the medical care they provide.

State availability

Services are available only in states where a Renovia-affiliated clinician holds an active license and where applicable telehealth and prescribing rules permit the care requested. If you relocate or are temporarily in a state we do not serve, we may be unable to provide care, issue refills, or continue your treatment until you return to a supported state.

You will be asked to confirm your state of residence and your location at the time of each visit. Providing inaccurate location information may result in your treatment being paused or your account being closed.

Verifying your clinician

You have the right to know the name, credentials, and license status of the clinician treating you. This information is provided to you before or during your visit, and you can request it at any time by emailing taciano@renovia.health. License status can be independently verified through your state's medical, nursing, or physician assistant licensing board.

Pharmacy licensing

Prescriptions are dispensed by U.S. pharmacies licensed in the state in which the patient receives the medication. Renovia does not own or operate a pharmacy and does not dispense medication.

Complaints and board oversight

Concerns about clinical care may be raised with us at taciano@renovia.health and may also be submitted directly to the licensing board in your state, which has regulatory authority over the clinician's practice.
